How to avoid workpiece deformation by CNC cutting in the medium and heavy plate cutting method

In plate cutting, NC cutting is one of the common ways, so we must understand the cutting method while understanding the plate cutting, so that we can fully understand the plate cutting. When we carry out NC cutting, sometimes the cutting parts will be deformed, so it is necessary to take some measures to control and prevent. What should we do? The following small series should be analyzed and elaborated in detail. The effective measures to control the deformation of cutting parts are generally as follows:

1. The purity of oxygen used should be sufficient because it is related to whether the cut surface is smooth or not. If the oxygen purity is not enough, the incision will become rough, which will affect the quality of the incision.

 

2. After cutting several workpieces, do not rush to clean them, so that the deformation can be effectively controlled.

 

3. If it is a thin steel plate, it can be cooled locally, or the cold shrinkage value can be added in advance to compensate according to the length, width and thickness of the cutting part.

 

4. The perpendicularity error between the cutting nozzle and the steel plate surface shall be almost zero, that is, the cutting nozzle and the steel plate surface shall be vertical, otherwise the cutting part will have dimensional error.

 

5. The workpiece prone to deformation shall be placed in the middle of the whole plate with sufficient distance from the workpiece.

 

6. Select a reasonable cutting sequence and correctly select the position of the perforation point to avoid the deformation of the cutting part.
